Official Rules for Flutter Fundraising and Experiences
** No Purchase Necessary to Enter or to Win Any Experience on Flutter **
Entering to Win an Experience: There are two ways in which you can enter to win an experience on Flutter:
1) For Free: To enter to win any experience on Flutter for free (no donation required) mail a 3x5 index card inside a first class envelope to;
Flutter (Free Entry), 14 Upland Road #1, Brookline, MA 02445
On that 3x5 card please include your:
- Full Name
- Mailing Address
- Telephone Number
- Email Address - if owned
- Experience Entering to Win - one experience per card
Each Free Alternative Method of Entry received will be submitted manually to Flutter’s list of eligible winners for the respective experience. Mail-in entries will be combined with those entries submitted via charitable donation (number 2. below). All entries (free and donation) have an equal chance at winning.
2) Donation to Charity: The second method for entering to win is via a donation to the supported charity for the featured experience. On the experience page click the “Donate and Enter Now” button to donate to the charity and to be automatically entered to win. 80% of all donations go directly to charity. Each experience has its own minimum donation amount.
One Donation/Experience: You are allowed one donation per charity/experience. Friends and family may donate on your behalf for you to win the experience. We cap donations to give everybody, regardless of financial worth, an equal chance at the experience of a lifetime.
Odds of Winning: Each individual may submit only one entry to win for each experience. Odds of winning are one and the number of entries received for each experience.
Start and End Dates: The time remaining to enter to win an experience on Flutter is clearly displayed via a countdown clock on each experience page.
Experience Rules: Each experience has their own set of rules that are listed under the “Fine Print” tab on each experience detail page. Experience specific rules supersede master rules.
Sponsor and Charity: The name of the company donating the experience, and the charity receiving donations, are both clearly displayed on the experience detail page.
Value of Experience & Tipping Point: Some experiences have a tipping point that quantifies the value of that experience. The value of the tipping point will be listed in the Fine Print if there is a tipping point. The tipping point is exceeded when the value of donations to charity exceed the tipping point’s dollar amount. If the tipping point is not met, then the charity still receives the donation, but the experience is not awarded - no one wins the experience.
Winner Selection: Winner(s) will be chosen at random via our software at the conclusion of the experience and after all mail-in entries have been received. The winner(s) will be announced and listed on the experience detail page and notified via email and/or phone of their upcoming experience. If winner(s) cannot be reached then our software will choose a second winner(s). Winner has 48 hours to reply and confirm the prize or else a second winner will be generated. Once contacted, Flutter will coordinate the logistics of the experience with the winner(s). In the event that the winner(s) can’t attend the experience due to scheduling, then another winner(s) will be chosen at random via our software.
Winner List: To receive a list of winner(s) for any or all experiences send a self addressed stamped envelope to: Flutter, 14 Upland Road #1, Brookline, MA 02445. The winner(s) for each experience is also listed on the experience detail page.
