About Fenway Victory Gardens
The Fenway Victory Gardens are the oldest continuously operating Word War II Victory Gardens in the United States, spanning 7.5 acres with over 500 gardens. The Victory Gardens were established by the Roosevelt Administration, it was one of over 20 million victory gardens responsible for nearly half of all the vegetable produce during the war. We have millions of visitors each year.
The Fenway Garden Society (FGS) is an all volunteer organization charged with stewardship of the gardens. As an all volunteer organization, 100% of donations goes directly to maintaining and improving public green space, urban gardening, and community events.
Your contribution to FGS ensures the future of America’s oldest continuously operating community garden, and keeps our park clean and safe. Our yearly calendar consists of community participation days, Open Gardens, an annual FensFest celebration, free gardening workshops and much more!
